According to the decision of State Duma Council of the Federal
Assembly of the Russian Federation the Fourth Far Eastern International Economic
Forum will be held in Khabarovsk on September 8-9, 2009.
The Far Eastern International Economic Forum is organized under the aegis of
the State Duma of the Russian Federation, all-Russian party “United Russia”,
with participation of Interregional Associations “Russian Far East and Transbaikalia”,
“Siberian Agreement”, and the Government of Khabarovsky Krai under the auspices of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.
Forum motto: ”Far East Russia Development Strategy: Anti-recession Guidelines and New Approaches”.
Forum will
concentrate on elaboration of the issues of socio-economic development of Siberia
and Russian Far East regions under conditions of economic crisis; well-being improvement
and settling down people through implementation of the Concept of Strategy for Social
and Economic Development of East Russia regions up to the year 2025 and specifically
Strategy targeted at the Russian Far East regions, based on the innovative approaches
enabling qualitative changes and accelerated development of Eastern Russia.
