According to the Russia State Duma decision the Second Far Eastern International Economic Forum will be held in Khabarovsk on September 18-19, 2007. Forum is dedicated to organizational and economic mechanisms of increasing living level and migration decrease of the Russian Far East inhabitants. The Far Eastern International Economic Forum is organized under the aegis of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, all-Russian party “Unified Russia”, with participation of Interregional Associations “Russian Far East and Transbaikalia”, “Siberian agreement”, and the Government of Khabarovsk Krai with an official support of the Government of Russia, the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Forum motto: “Through the development of Siberia and the Far East – to the modernization of the country”.
The major achievement of the discussions shall be effective ideas and decision options for the qualitative change of life, solving of migration problems through realization of priority investment projects, improving transportation, telecommunication and energetic infrastructures, effective development of natural resources using innovative approaches that are able to stimulate and accelerate socio-economic development of Siberia and Far East...
